The Doc'n Roll Jury Award for Documentary of the Year is an annual honour chosen by our Festival Jury. They bestow the award to the best of the best of the music documentary films screened at our annual Doc'n Roll London festival.
In 2025, six films are up for consideration by the jury: I Was A Teenage Sex Pistol, How Tanita Tikaram Became a LIAR, Monk In Pieces, Move Ya Body: The Birth of House, The Big Johnson, Boy George & Culture Club.
The 2024 winner was Any Other Way: The Jackie Shane Story, directed by Michael Mabbott and Lucah Rosenberg-Lee.
