UK PREMIERE + co-director Q&A

At 54, world-renowned New Zealand musician and The Chills frontman Martin Phillipps has been given a dire medical prognosis. As the eccentric Phillipps battles the jarring reality of his own mortality, he reconciles a lifetime of hoarding, drug abuse, and broken relationships to bravely embrace change. So much more than your average music documentary, the film asks the question - when is it too late to rebuild a life and fulfill your dreams?

Doc’n Roll Film Festival is supported by the BFI using funds from the National Lottery to grow audience appetite and enjoyment for a wide range of independent British and international films.
