WORLD PREMIERE + Q&A WITH JACK CULLEN AND SHORT ACOUSTIC SET

British-Irish singer-songwriter Jack Cullen has just been dropped by his record label. Instead of succumbing to defeat, Jack seizes the opportunity to redefine his life, embracing the freedom to fully be himself. With unyielding optimism and the support of his closest friends, he embarks on an extraordinary journey: running 12 marathons in 12 days, from the very spot where he left his professional rugby career to pursue music, all the way to a surprise gig in Trevose, Cornwall, to play the song that inspired this idea, “12.”

In this short documentary, Jack's story unfolds not just as a musician but as a man confronting the physical and emotional challenges of his past and present. Unannounced until the moment he steps off on his first marathon, his gig symbolises a fresh start, with the risk of injury, exhaustion, and uncertainty looming large. As a former rugby player, Jack thrives on pushing his physical limits, and this journey reveals the raw, unfiltered side of his life—beyond the music and social media facades.

Through the scenic landscapes of the South-West, Jack connects with the people he meets, sharing his story and recruiting an audience by playing pop-up gigs along the way, hoping fans will join him for the debut of his deeply personal song, "12." On the surface, this is a film about a musician on the run, but at its core, it's about resilience, reinvention, and the support of friends and family.
