Every year, Doc'n Roll asks an all-star group of music and film lovers to help cap off our London event by awarding the Doc'n Roll jury prize for documentary of the year. In 2018, the Doc'n Roll jury was made up of multi-instrumentalist and sound engineer Estella Adeyeri, poet and music journalist Kirsty Allison, film distributor Oli Harbottle, Keychange project manager and music journalist Jess Partridge, and Geoff Travis, founder of Rough Trade Records.

This year's jury panel awarded the Doc'n Roll 2018 Best Music Doc to Rudeboy: The Story Of Trojan Records, choosing from a shortlist of great documentaries including Silvana, Blue Note Records: Beyond The Notes, We Are The League, Our Most Brilliant Friends: Slow Club, and Anorac.
